Refund / Return Policy – Salt Gear
What if I want to return or exchange my product?
• You will be responsible for the courier fees when returning/exchanging the item or if you need to send it in for repairs.
• SALE ITEMS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE AND ALSO CANNOT BE EXCHANGED FOR ANY OTHER PRODUCT.
• Please send a request for a refund/exchange to email@example.com. Your request will be answered within 48 hours.
• We reserve the right to cancel a refund/return request if it is the same item(s) that have been bought previously from us.
• If the exchange is not the fault of Salt Gear, then a delivery fee will be charged again for delivery of the new item (see shipping info below).
• Such returns are governed by the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act of South Africa.
Wear and tear of the product or damage caused using this product by you is not covered by our returns and exchanges policy
• Decisions made by Salt Gear will be deemed final.
We are happy to return/exchange your product provided that the following conditions are met:
• The item should be returned in its original condition (no damage) and in its original packaging. Shipping of this item will be paid by the purchaser.
• Your items should have been purchased from our online store and you are able to provide the receipt or proof of purchase.
• The exchange/refund has been requested within 7 days of receiving the product.
• If any one of the above conditions is not met, then we regret to inform you that we cannot assist with processing a return or exchange.
Refunds (if applicable)
• Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
• If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
• If you have not received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
• Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
• Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
• If you have done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Exchanges (if applicable)
• We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at email@example.com and send your item to:

• To return your product, you should mail your product to

• You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
• Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
• If you are shipping an item, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
